The STU lowbed chassis is manufactured around load distribution, axle family, deck geometry and route requirements. Steel selection, gooseneck structure, beam geometry and reinforcement details are evaluated according to the selected lowbed configuration.
S355J2+N or S700MC PLUS
Choose S355J2+N for cost-effective standard builds or S700MC PLUS (from SSAB Co.) for high-strength weight reduction.
S700MC / Strenx-Class Option
High-strength steel can be evaluated for weight-sensitive or special configurations where payload logic, chassis strength and tare weight must be balanced.
