STU produces tipper semi trailers for different bulk materials instead of forcing one body design into every job. Pool Type is selected for sand, gravel and aggregates. Metal Scrap is selected for large volume recycling logistics. Rock Type is selected for quarry, mining and construction duty involving heavy impacts.

Choose Pool Type for sand, gravel, and aggregate operations. Choose Metal Scrap for recycling and scrap logistics where abrasion and impact are constant. Choose Rock Type for mining, quarries, and rocky construction environments where impact resistance is critical.
It is typically driven by road conditions, duty cycle intensity, and local regulations, especially on rugged routes and in heavy bulk operations.
Thickness is selected based on the density and impact profile of the rocks your operation loads. Lighter stone duty uses 4/5 mm Hardox; moderate duty uses 6/8 mm; heavy duty uses 8/10 mm.
The right tipper volume is not the biggest one. Divide your legal payload by the bulk density of what you haul and you get the body size you actually need. Anything beyond that is carrying air and costing you tare weight.
